With the help of donations from individuals, organizations and corporations, BOSTnet has been able to grow out of small, grassroots coalition of concerned parents looking for affordable and accessible OST programming for their children into an active and influential intermediary with statewide reach in Massachusetts.
Your generous support will allow BOSTnet to maintain the high-quality services we provide to the field every year. Make a donation now to support the following services:
· Consistent communication with the field - Along with our Guide to Boston’s Before & After School Programs (which we update and publish annually), BOSTnet’s monthly e-newsletter reaches over 1,300 subscribers and our quarterly State of the Field Reports offer timely research and perspectives affecting OST.
· Free Training and Networking opportunities beyond Greater Boston - we now offer the same FREE monthly Roundtables we’ve provided to Boston (for over a decade) to our friends on the North Shore!
· Addressing the special needs of children and youth with disabilities - We offer one of the only ongoing professional development opportunities for OST staff with our annual statewide All Means All Conference.
· BOSTnet works directly with a cohort of 10-20 programs every year, providing specialized training and best practices around quality improvement for these after school programs and staff.
· Advocacy – for over 20 years BOSTnet has been a tireless supporter of families and youth in Boston, making policymakers and funders aware of the issues facing the OST field.
