QRIS Information

The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) describes the Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) as “a method to assess, improve, and communicate the level of quality in early education and care and after-school settings.”
The QRIS system has five levels of quality, and the EEC has shown the importance of this initiative through outreach and training, coaching, funding, and other support to help programs as they move up through the QRIS levels.  Learn more on the EEC website.
